The food was average, at best. The service was good. The atmosphere is great. This small outdoor seating cafe has a great setting that is overlooking the beach and all the surfing action. We had the albacore tuna wonton share plate which was actually tuna poke. Very saucy and tuna poke was average quality. We also had the shrimp rolls. Again very saucy and too much bread and not enough shrimp. The drinks looked good and this is a great place for a beer in a setting that has a world class view

Visited the Sandbar Bistro during the summer of 2025, and the highlight was definitely the breathtaking ocean views. Located just outside the Long Beach Lodge Resort, it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the coastline. The food was average but enjoyable, and they had a great selection of local beers, which made the experience even better while sitting outdoors in the beautiful weather. Overall, Sandbar Bistro is ideal for anyone looking to soak in the scenery, sip some local brews, and enjoy a casual meal with stunning views.

Quick eats with one of the best view in Tofino, sitting right next to the most surfable beach in the area. Few beers to chose from. Average prices. The prawns tasted really fresh.

We had drinks and fries on their patio which has beautiful views of Cox Bay. The fries and dipping sauce were delicious!

Good food and amazing views. The service was a bit slow but the place was quite busy and staff were doing their best to keep up.

The menu is primarily centered around seafood, with options like fish and chips, but they also served a delicious cocktail shrimp that I tried.
